Negotiating consists of an essential set of skills that we use in all aspects of our lives, sometimes without even realizing it. Negotiations are a way of reaching an agreement and can be about anything, from the type of coffee you want to the terms of a new employment contract. This course identifies what skills and practices are required to achieve successful negotiations and introduces a comprehensive framework that covers the entire process: from how to prepare for a negotiation to concluding an agreement in order to accomplish a positive result for both sides. You will also have the opportunity to identify a real upcoming negotiation and to practice working through the process and applying the associated skills in a safe and supportive environment.
